In a democracy, both quality and community are essential. When we make space for others’ input, we become stronger together.
Democracy isn’t just about having opinions – it’s about acting on them. Mobilization is the ability to turn ideas into action and to engage others. This can be anything from organizing a fundraiser, speaking up at a meeting, to leading a campaign.
By practicing mobilization, we gain the tools to take responsibility for the changes we want to see – and to build alliances with others who share our vision. Mobilization requires courage, energy, and faith that our efforts matter. That’s why it’s crucial we believe we can make a difference – not just someday, but here and now.
